I am a Brooklyn-based video editor who is currently the creative director of BBH’s in-house production shop, Black Sheep Studios, where I edit everything from TVCs and web films to music videos and trailers. With a background in documentary television, I am adept at building entire narratives from the ground up, but I also excel at crafting powerful cinematic moments that leap off the screen.

I have been obsessed with filmmaking ever since I was a kid. Born and raised in Des Moines, IA, I graduated from New York University and spent a formative period of my early career at a boutique production company in Shanghai, CN. There I learned to wear many hats, working on a wide range of productions in a wide range of roles – whether writing for a late night talk show, directing and shooting branded web films, or producing and editing a Chinese spinoff of The Amazing Race. After moving back to New York City, I realized post production is what I love most and do best. I was a story producer and editor on both television and web series, for companies like Radical Media, Hearst, and Condé Nast, before joining the flock of black sheep at BBH.

When I am not busy editing, I co-host a podcast called Trailer Made, in which we review the latest and greatest movie trailers.
